In the last decade, NSCLC:
- · Streamlined Medicaid coverage procedures so that people with disabilities could enroll more quickly
- · Stopped Mississippi from cutting off prescription drug benefits to more than 50,000 elderly and people with disabilities before Medicare Part D began
- · Won a $700 million settlement on behalf of 200,000 low income Social Security beneficiaries
- · Saved Social Security and SSI benefits for thousands of New York, Connecticut and Vermont residents
- · Sued the Social Security Administration to publish its documents including suspension notices accessible for people who are visually impaired
- · Secured a $7 million settlement for older workers laid off due to discrimination
