An article in the Wall Street Journal examines Medicaid payment of long-term care in nursing homes.

While it is commonly thought of as a program for the poor, Medicaid pays for more than two-thirds of long-term nursing-home stays, according to a new article from the Wall Street Journal. The article quotes NSCLC Attorney Gene Coffey, who explains basic eligibility for benefits. The article also covers asset tests for the program.
