The NSCLC is an advocacy organization that provides education and counseling for advocates nationwide. It does not provide legal advice or guidance to individuals, but there are many local advocates and organizations that do. NSCLC does provide consumer publications and works with other aging organizations to accomplish its goals.

Protection & Advocacy System — The National Disability Rights Network has a directory of disability rights agencies.
The American Bar Association Web site provides useful links to lawyer referral services and pro bono legal help for those with limited income.
BenefitsCheckUp An online service from the National Council on Aging that helps older adults find out what benefits programs they qualify for, including the Medicare Part D low-income subsidy, Supplemental Security Income and many others.
Eldercare Locator An online service from the U.S Administration on Aging that helps older adults find needed services nearby.
Leadership Council of Aging Organizations You can find a directory of non-profit organizations whose members or cause serve older adults in many different ways.
Medicaid The federal government's Medicaid information site where you can find information about the federal/state program.
