Hospitals, nursing homes, even government agencies, have lobbyists and lawyers. But who makes the law work for low income older adults?

Please help NSCLC protect the safety net for low income older adults. NSCLC is a 501 (c)(3) organization. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Did you know that:

  • For 20 percent of the nation's elderly, Social Security is their only source of income?

  • Medicaid pays for one of every two dollars of nursing home costs

  • Medicare covers the costs of health care for more than 43 million and pays for nearly half of those costs

  • Older African Americans are nearly three times, Hispanics two times and Asian Americans 1.6 times more likely than elderly whites to be poor

Won't you help NSCLC give a voice to the elderly poor in the courts, in the nation's capitol and in the states?
